Responsibilities
Lead the execution of healthcare architecture and design projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and stakeholders, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring clear communication throughout the project lifecycle
Coordinate and oversee the work of project teams, including architects, designers, engineers, and contractors, to ensure cohesive and efficient project delivery
Develop and manage detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, and documentation, adapting as needed to meet changing requirements and challenges
Ensure all project activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and healthcare standards, including safety and accessibility requirements
Provides thoughtful expertise and deep understanding of MEP, structural, and vendor coordination on healthcare projects with a variety of project delivery methodologies
Collaborate with healthcare providers and stakeholders to understand their needs, workflows, and patient care philosophies, integrating these insights into project design and execution
Facilitate project meetings and presentations, effectively communicating project status, milestones, and outcomes to all stakeholders
Identify and manage project risks, implementing mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project objectives
Contribute to the firm's knowledge base and expertise in healthcare design, staying informed of industry trends, innovations, and best practices
Provide mentorship to the team and play an active role in Healthcare Studio initiatives
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or Interior Architecture
Proficiency in project management software such as Jira and Deltek
Proficiency in design and drafting tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM
Exceptional project management skills
Understanding of healthcare operations and regulations
Ability to work collaboratively with clients, consultants, and internal teams
Experience in healthcare facilities
Ability to lead with vision, accountability, and collaborative influence
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, highly detailed environment
Preferred
Professional certification in project management (e.g., PMP)
Professional certification in architecture/design (e.g., AIA, NCIDQ)
