This Summer, they are looking for a Process Engineering Intern to support their teams by implementing innovative solutions on assembly lines that enhance ergonomics, improve line speed, and facilitate data collection.

Responsibilities

Utilizing Microsoft Power Apps and Power Automate to create a digital application to replace existing paper checklists; expediting the process and ensuring the collection of reliable data through faster digitalization

Installing a mechanical screw dispenser on the assembly line to minimize the mixing of screws and streamlining the process of changing part numbers (PNs), thereby optimizing operational efficiency

Assisting with a telescopic reaction arm installation at the screwing stations to alleviate operator fatigue and ensuring ergonomic support tailored to each task

Participating in team meetings as needed

Required

Junior or Senior level student pursuing a degree in Industrial/Manufacturing/Mechanical Engineering, or STEM related major

MS Office Suite (Excel advanced skills preferred)

3D Design Tools (SolidWorks) experience

Critical thinking skills; Root cause analysis/Troubleshooting

Strong presentation skills

Previous internship experience in a manufacturing setting, a plus!

Available to start on May 26th and work 40 hours/week (in-person) for 10-12 week Summer assignment

Currently enrolled in 4-year accredited university
