Asst Lab Technician

Pratt & Whitney is working to transform the future of flight by designing, building, and servicing innovative engines. The Asst Lab Technician will support the MCL Laboratory Group with metallurgical sample preparation, evaluation, and quality documentation of aerospace materials.

Responsibilities

Perform analyses related to the evaluation of aerospace materials for compliance to standards
Possess a strong work ethic; the ability to work independently, and prioritize work flow, is critical
Provide clear, concise, and accurate lab reports
Interact effectively with customers at all levels

Required

HS Diploma or AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with less than 2 years of relevant experience
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract

Successful candidate may have prior metallurgical laboratory experience, and understanding of lab protocols
