The Senior Business Analyst will focus on financial and strategic planning, business performance, process improvement, and investment analysis for one of the Global Business Units.

Responsibilities
Serves as a business partner and key financial resource for the business unit
Interprets monthly and annual financial results and evaluates business performance
Provides reporting packages highlighting key performance indicators. Identifies financial performance trends and provides insight to drive improvements and bring added value to both the business and company
Plays a key role in annual and long range business planning
Performs both routine and ad-hoc analyses supporting all areas of the business. Participates on cross functional teams providing situational leadership supporting both tactical and strategic initiatives
Completes investment analyses and provides recommendations for capital expenditures and new product development projects
Provides analytical support for benchmarking performance; taking into consideration key industry trends, competitor activity, and relevant economic factors
Qualification
Required
2+ years of experience as a financial or business analyst
3-5 years of relevant experience with increasing levels of responsibility
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics (advanced degree preferred)
Driven, self-motivated, proactive
Collaborative team player
Effectively manages priorities and influences decisions within a matrix organization
Excellent verbal and written communication. Demonstrated ability to explain complex topics
Strong Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills
Experience with ERP and Business Intelligence systems. Experience with Infor M3, IBM Cognos Analytics, and SAP Business Planning & Consolidation a plus
Travel: 15%
Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards
Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards
Must be able to lift and carry up to 15 lbs
Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly on telephone
