Responsibilities
Lead the end-to-end installation and configuration of new ServiceNow products, with a heavy focus on ITOM (Discovery & Service Mapping) and ITAM (HAM/SAM)
Architect and maintain a healthy Configuration Management Database (CMDB), ensuring data integrity across all configuration items and their relationships
Design, develop, and unit-test custom applications, Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, and UI Actions using JavaScript
Build and optimize complex workflows and integration points using Flow Designer and IntegrationHub to streamline ITSM processes
Perform platform upgrades, patch cycles, and performance tuning to ensure the environment remains secure and efficient
Partner with cross-functional teams in the D.C. region to gather requirements and provide technical mentorship to junior developers
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 5+ years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow development and systems integration
Proven track record of configuring and deploying ITOM, SAM, and HAM modules in large-scale enterprise environments
Strong command of JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and Glide API; experience with REST/SOAP integrations is essential
Deep understanding of the Common Service Data Model (CSDM) and how it informs the relationship between asset management and service delivery
Ability to work with clients in the Washington, D.C. area and meet any necessary background or clearance requirements typical of the region's federal and commercial sectors
Preferred
Highly prefer Certified System Administrator (CSA) and Certified Application Developer (CAD); CIS certifications in Discovery or SAM are a significant plus
