Responsibilities
To be an active team member of the legal team by providing high-quality professional administrative, and legal support to in-house counsel to protect the policyholders and the Company’s legal interests
Keep cases organized by establishing and managing files and requesting files
Maintain and review the calendar, meet deadlines, document actions, input information into the file database software, and draft documents related to cases
Interface with clients, claims adjusters, court clerks, and/or court reporters
Review, document, and distribute mail/faxes
Draft legal documents and standard letters, collect and analyze information, schedule depositions, mediations, hearings, and/or conduct electronic filing—other duties assigned by management or as needed
Qualification
Required
High-quality professional administrative support experience
Legal support experience
Ability to keep cases organized by establishing and managing files
Experience in maintaining and reviewing calendars
Ability to meet deadlines
Experience in documenting actions
Experience in inputting information into file database software
Ability to draft documents related to cases
Experience interfacing with clients, claims adjusters, court clerks, and/or court reporters
Experience in reviewing, documenting, and distributing mail/faxes
Ability to draft legal documents and standard letters
Experience in collecting and analyzing information
