Responsibilities
Answers incoming phone calls. Direct caller to appropriate department or individual or takes a thorough message
Customer Intake: Greet guests as they arrive at the service department and determine the nature of the visit
Sheduling: Book and manage service appointments for customers and staff
Communication: Communicates with callers and visitors in a professional, friendly and efficient manner
Translate customer concerns into repair orders for technicians and notify team members when customers have arrived
Information Source: Provide basic information on dealership policies, procedures, and service status
Communicate messages to the appropriate parties in a timely manner
Assists with clerical duties as requested
Maintains a professional appearance
Other tasks as assigned
Qualification
Required
Must be at least 18 years old and able to pass a drug screen and a background check
A High School Diploma or GED
Able to communicate in English
Technical Proficiency: Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Dealership Management Systems (DMS) like ADP and CDK
Math Skills: Ability to calculate discounts, interest, percentages, and accurately count cash
Exceptional interpersonal skills, 'cherry' disposition, and strong conflict de-escalation for handling upset clients
The role often requires the ability to sit or stand for long periods and are expected to maintain a professional appearance as they represent the dealership
