Responsibilities
Experience with chilled water plant design consisting of chillers, cooling towers, pumps, piping, valving, expansion and buffer tanks, and all associated piping instrumentation
Oversee the design and development of comprehensive engineering documentation for EPC and industrial projects. This role involves a combination of hands-on engineering and managing third-party engineering services to deliver a complete engineering package, including but is not limited to: General Arrangement (GA) drawings P&ID drawings Pressure Relief Valve (PRV) calculations Nozzle load analysis (forces and moments) Anchorage details FAT procedures
Act as main point for technical questions for vendors, project management, and field personnel. Support project managers and field teams with technical expertise
Develop innovative solutions that bring additional value to the customer
Stay abreast of current technologies and industry trends
Identify and utilize software modeling tools
Utilize cloud tools such as Microsoft Teams & SharePoint for collaboration
Qualification
Required
BS degree in Mechanical Engineering
Minimum 10 years of construction or engineering related work experience
Mastery of refrigeration and hydronic fundamentals including system design
Mastery of AutoCAD or Revit
Experience with ASME & API standards
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Must be able to multi-task, work well with others, and have a positive attitude
Clean driving record and reliable personal vehicle
Preferred
PE license is not a requirement for this position
