Responsibilities
Conduct hydrologic and hydraulic (H&H) modeling
Develop flood management strategies and prepare CLOMR AND LOMR submittals
Design detention/retention basins
Plan and design water quality features
Design drainage networks and stormwater conveyance systems to manage runoff and prevent erosion
Perform watershed analyses and scour analysis for bridges and culverts
Prepare and review permit applications (e.g., FEMA, state-level environmental agencies) to ensure projects meet all federal, state, and local standards
Prepare detailed technical reports, engineering plans, and cost estimates for public and private stakeholders
Qualification
Required
Current Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
Minimum of 3 years of experience in hydraulic modeling and water infrastructure design
Technical proficiency with industry software such as HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, PondPack, StormCAD
Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
