Responsibilities
Support one or more client policy initiative(s) with a team that will engage in activities such as policy analysis and recommendations, client communications, client meetings, action item management, and project progress tracking and reporting
Drive your development through an annual process that supports your growth goal in partnership with your supervisor and BerryDunn’s learning and development team
Participate in new business development through activities such as research, supporting proposal content, or developing marketing materials
Qualification
Required
Drive and initiative
Experience working with most Medicaid authorities such as waivers and the state plan
Eight or more years working for a Medicaid agency supporting policy initiatives, a role with CMS supporting states and territories in their Medicaid policy initiative, or consulting with Medicaid agencies on policy initiatives
Experience in detailed analysis of regulations and sub-regulatory guidance to inform the direction of the program along with managing projects and initiatives to implement program changes to comply with the regulation
A bachelor's or master's degree in in a relevant field or equivalent years experience
Demonstrated experience in relationship building and teamwork
Excellent writing, communication and computer skills
Preferred
Experience in MAGI and non-MAGI eligibility
Experience navigating the reimbursement portion of state plans
