Director, Strategic Accounts, AWS Industries

Responsibilities
Develop and execute a comprehensive Strategic Accounts plan that will delight our customers
Drive revenue, adoption, and market penetration in strategic accounts
Drive engagements at the CXO level as well as with Line of Business Leaders across complex organizations
Create, articulate, and train the team on compelling value propositions around AWS to accelerate customer adoption
Work with partners (System Integration Partners, Channel Partners, Network Providers, and Independent Software Vendors) to extend reach and drive adoption
Serve as a key member of the Americas leadership team in helping to define and deliver the overall strategy and programs
Prepare and give business reviews to the senior management team
Qualification
Required
10+ years of direct field experience in working with enterprise accounts developing and executing strategies using multiple types of resources (Professional, Solutions Architects, Training, Partners) selling technology solutions
10+ years of global leadership experience, proven people management and experience leading large, diverse teams
Experience negotiating large contracts, coordinating closely with legal counsel and executives
Experience forecasting and territory management as well as sales planning and sales operations with a track record of exceeding revenue quota and new customer adoption goals
Preferred
BA/BS degree required or equivalent
Demonstrated ability to engage and influence C-level executives
Strong verbal and written communications skills
Blend of experience with Fortune 100 businesses plus a demonstrated ability to operate in an entrepreneurial, agile environment
Ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations
Consultative and value-driven approach to client relationships
Experience developing and facilitating appropriate sales motions to lead a team broad and deep in targeted accounts
