As a Tax Examiner I in the Collections Section, you will be responsible for collecting delinquent taxes, answering customer inquiries, and resolving billing issues while delivering high-quality service.

Responsibilities
Research, explain, and advise taxpayers on how to comply with Colorado tax laws, especially those pertaining to outstanding tax debt and collection enforcement
Perform research, analysis, and necessary adjustments to customer accounts; and
Provide high-quality customer service and de-escalate conflicts when necessary
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)
Two (2) years of experience in an occupational field related to the work assigned to the position
Preferred
Collections and/or tax experience
Experience using GenTax software
Proficient with Microsoft and Google Suite
Experience in a fast-paced, independent, and production driven environment
High-quality verbal and written communication skills
Experience with public facing customer service
Experience working in a call center environment
