Responsibilities

Build, manage, and scale a network of channel partners serving the K–12 market across the United States
Identify, recruit, onboard, and enable new partners aligned with Ativion’s mission of student safety, privacy, and data protection
Develop joint business plans, co-selling motions, and pipeline targets with partners
Train and enable partner sales teams on Ativion’s platform, use cases, and value proposition, with emphasis on safeguarding students and sensitive data
Serve as the primary relationship owner for partner engagements within the assigned territory
Own revenue targets for assigned K–12 territories
Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting and qualification through contract negotiation and close
Engage with key K–12 stakeholders including superintendents, assistant superintendents, CIOs/CTOs, IT directors, student safety leaders, data privacy officers, and procurement teams
Develop and execute territory plans aligned with regional and national growth objectives
Navigate district purchasing processes, RFPs, and cooperative contracts as applicable
Maintain accurate pipeline management, forecasting, and CRM discipline
Partner closely with Marketing, Sales Engineering, Customer Success, and Product teams to ensure successful partner and customer outcomes
Provide insights on K–12 market dynamics, district priorities, and regulatory considerations related to privacy and student safety
Represent Ativion at K–12 conferences, partner events, and customer meetings across the US

Required

4+ years of B2B sales experience, with experience selling into US K–12 education
Proven success managing channel sales and meeting revenue targets in public-sector or education markets
Experience selling educational technology, SaaS platforms, or student safety / data protection solutions strongly preferred
Understanding of K–12 buying cycles, budget timing, and stakeholder complexity
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
Willingness to travel domestically as required

Preferred

Experience selling to school districts, charter networks, regional education agencies, or state-level education organizations
Familiarity with K–12 privacy and safety regulations (e.g., FERPA, COPPA, state student data privacy laws)
Experience working with channel-led, multi-state go-to-market models
Background in high-growth or mission-driven organizations
