Accounting Specialist
Greene Resources is seeking an Accounting Specialist to join a growing and dynamic team. The role involves supporting the SVP of Finance with various accounting tasks, including managing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling entries, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.

Responsibilities
Support the SVP of Finance in preparation of all daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly journal entries, general ledger, accounts receivable and accounts payable
Reconcile Accounts Receivable Entries with CRM Database reports monthly
Manage and oversee the entire accounts payable process, ensuring timely and accurate payments
Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
Process vendor invoices, payments, and employee expense reimbursements
Prepare and process all bank deposits daily
Assist the SVP of Finance in helping with the budget process
Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements
Implement internal controls and identify opportunities for process improvements
Maintain historical AP and HR records
Keep the Staff Database updated according to the provided changes in employment
Process employees’ insurance enrollment and change applications
Assist in updating employee and accounting manuals
Prepare bi-monthly payroll for processing by the SVP of Finance
Assist with benefits administration
Assist in other miscellaneous tasks as asked by the SVP of Finance
Qualification
Required
2 years of accounting, accounts payable, CRM, ERP, and payroll experience is required
An associate's degree in Business, Accounting, or a related field is required
Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations, and tax compliance (e.g., 1099)
Proficient in the use of accounting software and ERP systems
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
Strong communication and organizational skills
Attention to detail
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks
Deadline oriented
Intermediate use of Microsoft Outlook and Word
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
Strong written & verbal communication skills
Exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality regarding all payroll, compensation, and human resources matters
Preferred
A bachelor's degree is preferred
