Responsibilities
Develop comprehensive project plans including scope, timelines, budgets, resources, milestones, and deliverables
Coordinate cross-functional teams (clinical, operations, IT, finance, and external partners) to ensure successful execution
Manage multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced clinic environment
Track project progress, timelines, budgets, and performance metrics
Identify risks, issues, and mitigation strategies; adjust project plans as needed
Prepare and deliver regular project status reports, dashboards, and recommendations to leadership
Escalate issues appropriately to ensure timely resolution
Serve as the primary liaison between project stakeholders and clinic leadership
Lead or facilitate project meetings, workshops, and training sessions
Oversee vendor and contractor relationships, including performance monitoring, invoice approval, and deliverables
Ensure projects align with clinic quality standards, HIPAA, accreditation, and regulatory requirements
Support change management efforts by communicating changes, training staff, and ensuring adoption of new processes or systems
Conduct post-project evaluations, document lessons learned, and recommend improvements
Hire, train, mentor, and evaluate project coordinators or support staff
Assign tasks, set priorities, and monitor project team workflows
Foster a collaborative, high-performance project environment
Remove obstacles and resolve personnel or project-related challenges
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Project Management, or related field
Minimum of five (5) years of project management experience, preferably in a healthcare or clinic setting
At least two (2) years in a supervisory or project leadership role
Experience leading clinical operations, systems implementations (e.g., EHR), process improvement, or facility projects
Proven track record of delivering projects on time, within scope, and budget
Experience working with multidisciplinary teams and vendors
Strong project management skills including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and risk management
Excellent leadership, team management, and coaching abilities
Superior written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational, prioritization, and time-management capabilities
Ability to analyze data, track metrics, and drive informed decision-making
Effective change management and stakeholder engagement skills
Proficiency with project management tools and Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
Knowledge of healthcare operations, regulatory requirements, and quality improvement principles
Problem-solving mindset with proactive approach to improvement
High integrity, professionalism, and commitment to clinic mission and values
Valid driver's license and ability to travel locally as needed
Preferred
Master's degree (MBA, MHA)
PMP or CAPM certification
Healthcare-related certifications (Lean Six Sigma, Certified Healthcare Project Manager)
