Responsibilities
Program 5‑axis CNC milling and turning operations
Support a Multis machine with live tooling , including complex setups and machining strategies
Develop efficient toolpaths and machining processes for tight‑tolerance components
Work with various steel alloys , adjusting feeds, speeds, cutting strategies, and tooling to match material characteristics
Collaborate with machinists, engineers, and other programmers to ensure accuracy, manufacturability, and production efficiency
Troubleshoot machining issues, optimize cycle time, and improve machining performance
Qualification
Required
5–10 years of CNC programming experience
Strong experience with 5‑axis machines (both milling and lathe)
Ability to program and support live‑tooling machines (Multis or similar)
Knowledge of machining various steel alloys
Experience working in environments using 3‑ and 4‑axis machines, with ability to guide and support less‑experienced programmers
