Responsibilities
Guide the strategy for our U.S. Medicaid business, developing modern, repeatable solutions that help agencies modernize technology, improve experiences, and deliver on their missions
Lean into your background across government, technology, and data to help teams and clients navigate transformation with confidence
Partner with major cloud, platform, and data providers to co‑create offerings and elevate Slalom’s industry presence
Serve as a national thought leader—speaking at conferences, influencing stakeholders, and advancing our perspective on the future of Medicaid
Grow and mature Slalom’s Medicaid community, fostering belonging, expertise, and shared success across markets
You will own $3.5M+ in direct annual revenue, partnering with local markets to identify opportunities, shape pursuits, and drive growth in meaningful, mission‑aligned ways. You’ll help teams win by bringing clarity, credibility, and vision
With a 25% utilization target, your focus is on helping teams deliver exceptional work—offering executive support, managing risk, and ensuring our solutions deliver sustainable value for clients. You’ll model customer‑obsessed leadership that inspires confidence and builds long-term relationships
Because this is a national leadership role, you’ll travel 25–50%, meeting with clients, supporting teams, and representing Slalom at key industry events. Travel is purposeful: strengthening partnerships, elevating our voice, and staying connected to the systems and people we serve
Qualification
Required
10+ years across Medicaid systems, programs, data, and operations—paired with hands-on experience in modernization and emerging technologies
Consulting leadership in developing market strategies, capturing work, and delivering large-scale transformations
Deep understanding of MES/MMIS modernization, cloud ecosystems, CRM, and data platforms
A track record of building trust with government stakeholders and cross‑functional teams
A collaborative, humble leadership style that reflects Slalom's culture of inclusion, curiosity, and authenticity
