Configuration Management Specialist (Level II)
Boarhog LLC is seeking a Configuration Management Specialist (Level II) to support the Naval Information Warfare Systems Center (NIWC) Pacific. The role involves applying configuration and data management control disciplines to complex systems, ensuring proper configuration management, and maintaining documentation for system production and deployment.

Responsibilities
Develop, implement and maintain CM, including configuration audit plans covering hardware and software in an integrated approach
Provide configuration status accounting to delineate the status of changes from the baseline, the status of proposed changes, and the status of implementation of approved changes, using the government-approved Automated Data Processing (ADP) system(s) for configuration status accounting. Configuration accounting shall be achieved through utilization of CMPro database, as used by NAVWAR
Ensure proper CM is maintained via the Navy's Afloat Tactical Networks Program Office (PMW-160) CCB / PTRB / CMPro workflow processes
Provide guidance and status to software developers, engineering staff, quality assurance, and configuration / release teams related to process and tool design alternatives, solution lifecycle processes, and compliance with established procedures for configuration / data management
Verify and maintain complete and accurate configuration identification of each Configuration Item (CI) or Computer Software Configuration Item (CSCI) and government-approved established Functional, Allocated, and Product baselines for equipment or systems
Draft and update baseline documents related to systems engineering which include system concepts, system configurations, specifications, reports, accreditation documents, line drawings, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), architecture drawings, equipment lists and Bill of Materials (BoMs), Configuration Item Configuration Documentation (CICD), manufacturing processes or procedures, test and inspection plans or procedures, surveys, quality assurance provisions, inspection and test equipment requirements, packaging lists, software documentation, technical manuals, training manuals, maintenance and supply documentation
Input or update information in established databases for retention, tracking or maintenance of critical information and configurations
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's level degree any field
Seven (7) years of professional experience in CM

Preferred
Experience with U.S. Navy acquisition commands (e.g. NAVWAR, NAVSEA, NAVAIR), or their supported PEOs (e.g. PEO C4I, PEO Digital), or their field activities (e.g. NIWC, NSWC) highly desired
Possess an active DoW Secret Clearance, or be able to quickly reactivate a recently archived DoW Secret Clearance
Preference is given to candidates who reside in a Historically Underutilized Business Zone (HUBZone) as determined by the Small Business Administration
