Responsibilities
Own end-to-end paid search strategy and execution across Google Search, Performance Max, and Bing (Meta a plus)
Personally manage and optimize $300k–$500k+ in monthly ad spend
Scale Performance Max and Max Conversion Value bidding at high spend levels
Drive continuous improvements across CPA, ROAS, conversion rate, and lead quality
Compete effectively against listicle, ranking, and aggregator advertisers that resell leads across multiple buyers
Design and test account structures, bidding strategies, audiences, creatives, and landing page hypotheses
Identify inefficiencies, wasted spend, and arbitrage opportunities in aggressive auctions
Produce clear, actionable reporting on performance, learnings, and spend efficiency
Act as a subject-matter expert and strategic leader within paid search (without being a people-manager role)
Qualification
Required
Senior-level paid search practitioner with deep, hands-on experience (not just oversight)
Proven ownership of $300k–$500k+ monthly budgets
Demonstrated success scaling Performance Max with Max Conversion Value bidding
Direct experience competing against listicle and ranking-style advertisers
Strong performance optimization mindset — you've grown accounts, not just maintained them
Comfort operating in high-CPC, regulated, trust-based verticals
Ability to come in with a clear plan and execute quickly
5–10+ years of hands-on PPC / SEM experience strongly preferred
