They are seeking an accounting intern to support their accounting team, providing real-life exposure to the daily duties of the department and assisting with various projects that impact business operations.

Responsibilities
Will be exposed to financial reporting & month-end GL process, securitization processes, the Company’s main funding source, as applicable
Evaluate use cases on existing processes to expand the use of AI tools (Chat GPT) through collaboration with the Team
Obtain and understand an overview of how an accounting department runs in a corporate setting
Assist, as needed, in monitoring budgets and reporting on results
Responsible for execution of the project/ tasks outlined by their mentor
Complete reports and summary of projects fulfilled weekly
Meet with a mentor throughout each week to discuss projects, reports and questions
Supporting the department and company by providing innovative ideas, solutions and an outside perspective
Keep up to date with technical developments in the accounting function
Ability to analyze data and work collaboratively across functions within the department and the organization
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled in and working towards an undergraduate in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or similar degree and in good academic standing
Available to work 40 hours/week (hybrid) for a roughly 10-week summer assignment from June 2, 2026 – August 6, 2026
Strong attention to detail, problem solving, research skills
Eager to learn and be coachable
Excellent written and verbal communications
Demonstrated skills in the use of Microsoft Office applications
Strong customer service aptitude
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Embrace different points of view and demonstrate flexibility
Uphold the Company's commitment to ethics and business conduct
Preferred
Current experience in the utilization of AI tools (Chat GPT) is a plus but not required. We are currently looking to greatly expand our use of the Enterprise version
