Northeast MBR Regional Sales Manager

Kubota Water and Environment U.S.A. is seeking a highly motivated Regional Sales Manager to lead sales and business development efforts in the Northeast Region. This role is responsible for overseeing all sales efforts, coordinating representative networks, and driving business growth within the region, focusing on technical sales for wastewater treatment and water reuse solutions.

Responsibilities

Lead technical sales efforts and reuse business development within Northeast Territory
Drive business growth to meet KWU’s target goals
Strengthen relationships with large engineering firms, municipalities, and private clients in the region
Aggressively solicit orders through marketing outreach, and lead generation efforts
Identify and develop new sales opportunities by utilizing both inbound and outbound strategies
Educate engineering firms on the complete system approach versus membrane-only solutions
Promote and sell Kubota’s MBR membranes, systems, and package plants directly to municipalities and engineering firms
Work on spec-in opportunities before the official bidding process
Support client visits to project sites and factories
Maintain strong relationships with existing customers and promote Kubota replacement parts such as cartridges and modules
Identify and develop new sales opportunities within the surrounding region
Represent KWU at regional and national conferences and exhibitions
Provide technical and sales support to business partners and representatives
Assist in managing, training, and guiding sales representatives within the region and other territories as needed
Conduct forecasting and reporting for the region
Submit special reports regarding territory operations, product acceptance, and competitive conditions as required
Support the project management and administrative teams in customer communication
Work independently and stay self-motivated in a high-volume sales environment
Travel up to 75% within the region as well as nationally as required

Required

Bachelor's degree in environmental, chemical, civil engineering, or a related field
Established Regional Sales Manager with strong business development experience
Minimum 5 years of technical sales experience in wastewater treatment, membrane systems, and/or reuse
Expertise in high-volume selling, with a proven track record of delivering strong results based on experience
Sales experience in municipal and/or industrial wastewater projects
Strong technical and professional communication with clients, owners, and engineers
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States

Preferred

Established market influence within the Northeast wastewater and water reuse sector, with a proven ability to drive technical decision-making among key stakeholders
Deep knowledge of water treatment regulations and industry trends, ensuring compliance and strategic positioning
Active participation in regional industry conferences, leveraging industry relationships to expand market reach
Proven project management and customer relationship skills, fostering long-term partnerships and KWU brand preference
