New Grad, Entry LevelAllied Property Management is looking for a Make Ready to help manage the general maintenance of recently vacated apartments for market readiness and curb appeal of the apartment community. The Make Ready role is responsible for preparing apartments for market readiness, responding to service work orders, and assisting maintenance technicians.

Responsibilities
Gathers all necessary tools, equipment, and supplies needed to make an apartment unit available to rent
Checks air conditioning unit, heating unit, water heater, and contacts maintenance technician for more extensive repairs or replacements
Checks all doors and windows and re-keys locks
Repairs holes in walls and performs painting duties as needed
Assist maintenance technician as needed
Clean breezeways and parking lots by use of a blower or pressure washer
Polishes and varnishes cabinets and other woodwork as needed
Evaluates flooring for condition; shampoos carpet/vinyl, or replaces carpet/vinyl if needed
Performs other related duties as assigned to meet the needs of the business
Qualification
Required
Experience in general maintenance of apartments
Ability to prepare recently vacated apartments for market readiness
Ability to respond to service work orders
Grounds keeping experience
Ability to assist maintenance technician
Customer service minded
High degree of professionalism and 'can do' attitude
Professional attitude and appearance
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise
Patient, organized, and detail oriented
Excellent communications and listening skills
High level of organization and ability to prioritize tasks
Able to follow company policies as well as federal, state and local laws
Able to work harmoniously with colleagues, customers and vendors
