Enterprise Application Analyst

Main Line Health is seeking an Enterprise Application Analyst to support the development and maintenance of applications, primarily focusing on Digital Front Door initiatives in MyChart. The role involves collaborating with various teams to optimize workflow processes and ensuring application certification for supported applications.

Responsibilities

To support new and current project development, including system analysis, planning and preparation
To act as the primary resource dedicated to designing, building, testing, and implementation in collaboration with appropriate departments
Develop, support, and maintain documentation and procedures as needed. Acts as a resource to coworkers regarding build and workflow in application areas
Collaborate with other IT analysts and vendors to identify system optimization and enhancements to design and implement effective solutions
Attend meetings to discuss team and project related activities, issues, change, communications, and updates
Travel to various locations, including occasional evening and weekend hours as needed
Achieves and maintains certification status in assigned application(s) and working knowledge of other related applications
Develop and maintain models and documentation of operations, business and system requirements and configure system accordingly
Contribute to preparation of testing scripts and materials and perform unit, system, and integrated testing tasks
Provide support and proactive service, by phone and through onsite visits as appropriate, to assess user needs including analysis of opportunities to take advantage of existing workflows and tools
Complete project tasks within the defined project deadlines
Champion the EHR, provide support in the ongoing implementations, optimizations, and upgrades
Participate in the on-call support schedule as defined by the supporting on call policy

Required

Minimum 3-4 years of recent healthcare information systems or clinical experience required
Strong communication and analytical skills to interpret appropriate clinical and non-clinical requests
Achieves and maintains certification status in assigned application(s) and working knowledge of other related applications
Develop and maintain models and documentation of operations, business and system requirements and configure system accordingly
Contribute to preparation of testing scripts and materials and perform unit, system, and integrated testing tasks

Preferred

Strong preference for cardiology and or nursing background preferred!
Large scale healthcare systems planning and implementation experience on application software products is preferred
Bachelor's degree in clinical or related field preferred, and/or equivalent experience/training
Strong preference for Nurses with Cardiology background preferred!
Current Epic and other application certification(s) and/or appropriate certifications as defined by role (if applicable to application (s) or must be willing to travel for training and achieve certification within 90 days of completed testing. Epic experience preferred
