The Tobacco Clerk position involves operating a cash register, stocking, and cleaning, while ensuring excellent customer service and compliance with tobacco sales regulations.

Responsibilities
Operates a cash register efficiently and performs checkout procedures at or above expected performance standards including, but not limited to, accurate handling/counting of cash, debit cards, credit cards, coupons and checks
Follows all check-out and cash handling procedures and policies
Keep Tobacco looking neat and presentable, including but not limited to, stocking snacks and drinks, sweeping, cleaning counters, changing trash. May include cleaning outside as needed
Provide excellent customer service
Check the identification of all customers attempting to purchase tobacco products. Customers must be 21 years of age or older
Qualification
Required
Customer service orientation and willingness to deal with people daily
Ability to count money and make accurate change
Ability to work assigned shifts and arrive to work on time
Ability to clean and straighten product when no customers need assisting
Flexibility in schedules – We are a seven day a week operation with weekend and evening hours
Ability to stand for long periods of time, frequently bend, lift, squat, lean, and reach
Must successfully complete a background check
A drug test is required for Berea #2, Campbellsville, Lebanon, KY, Circleville, and Southland
Benefits
