Responsibilities
Lead or assist in due diligence for all transactions (ranging from first lien loans to for-control buyouts), including reviews of company financials, industry/end markets, operations, customers, employees, and vendors, amongst other diligence items
Engage with third party providers to design work scopes and oversee/ensure quality of finished product (e.g. QofE, coding/billing audits, background checks, etc.)
Oversee and own the creation of financial models
Screen and structure new transactions
Attend management meetings, portfolio company board meetings, and certain industry events
Prepare investment memorandums and present to the firm’s Investment Committee
Negotiate legal documentation (credit and asset purchase agreements), waivers and amendments
Monitor ongoing performance of portfolio companies; and
Oversight and mentorship of Associates
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 5-7 years of relevant experience (private credit and/or private equity)
Superior modeling skills
Experience leading diligence with companies
