Extended Care Teacher
Xiente is seeking an experienced and passionate Extended Care Teacher to join their team. The role involves providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children aged 3-5 years, planning developmentally appropriate activities, and fostering positive relationships with children and their families.

Responsibilities
Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities for children in our care
Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children
Foster positive relationships with children and their families
Maintain accurate records of children's progress and development
Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about their child's progress
Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure the smooth running of the program
Ensure that all health and safety regulations are met
Attend staff meetings and professional development opportunities as required
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or equivalent
CDA in Early Childhood Education or related field
Minimum of 2 years of experience working with preschool-aged children
Knowledge of child development and early childhood education best practices
Ability to plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work collaboratively with other teachers and staff
Strong organizational and time management skills
Current CPR and First Aid certification
