Responsibilities

Monitor & Manage: Oversee network queues to maintain operational flow and resolve issues promptly
Proactive Maintenance: Perform scheduled health checks and ensure network devices meet compliance standards
Hands-On Troubleshooting: Diagnose and remediate Layer 2 and Layer 3 network issues
Incident Response: Provide L2 triage during major incidents and assist with root cause analysis
Collaborate: Work closely with cross-functional teams to guarantee network availability and performance
Document Everything: Maintain accurate records of configurations, incident resolutions, and changes

Required

4+ years in network engineering or NOC operations
Core Knowledge: Routing, switching, firewalls, load balancing, DNS, Azure
Hands-On Expertise With: Cisco ASR/ISR, Catalyst 9300, Nexus 9K, Catalyst SDWAN, Catalyst Center (DNAC)
Cisco Meraki MR Series, Z3 Device, MX Firewall
Palo Alto Firewall, Cisco FMC, Panorama
F5 LTM
Azure networking
Monitoring tools: SolarWinds, LiveAction, NetBrain, ThousandEyes
Soft Skills: Clear communication and ability to thrive in a fast-paced team environment
CCNA (required)

Preferred

Cloudflare DNS and Azure Firewall management
Cisco Firepower, ASA/FTD, and Meraki dashboard experience
Automation/scripting (Ansible, Python, Terraform)
CCNP (preferred) or equivalent
