Start in 2026 SummerCity of Atlanta's Department of Watershed Management is offering a 2026 College Student Summer Internship in the Office of Administration. The intern will assist in training course preparation, support budgeting processes, and help with administrative tasks to ensure efficient operation within the department.

Responsibilities
Assist Training Supervisors with the preparation and delivery of training courses and workshops
Help create and organize training materials, including PowerPoint presentations, handouts, and email communications
Support classroom setup and logistics for in-person and virtual training sessions
Maintain attendance records and assist with tracking training participation
Learn and assist with the department’s budgeting process, including reviewing requests for conferences and training sessions
Help process payment inquiries and track paid invoices in accordance with established procedures
Draft, proofread, and send professional correspondence under supervision
Attend team meetings and provide administrative support as needed
Demonstrate professionalism in appearance, communication, and conduct
Manage time effectively and pay close attention to detail when completing assignments
Perform other related duties as assigned to support the Office of Administration
Qualification
Required
Must be eighteen years of age or older
Must be authorized to work in the United States of America
Must be a sophomore or above college student at application submission
Minimum overall GPA 3.0
Must attach College Transcript – Unofficial IS acceptable (NO screenshots)
Currently pursuing a bachelors, associates or above from an accredited college or university
Must have at least one remaining semester at the start of the internship
Must attach Resume (NO screenshots)
