Responsibilities
In this role, daily duties commence with comprehensive manual testing of applications, executing predefined test cases to ensure all features function according to specifications and identify any defects
This is followed by rigorous functional testing to validate application behavior against business and functional requirements, and thorough data validation using SQL queries to confirm accuracy and integrity
The process extends to the detailed testing of Tableau dashboards and reports against business requirements, alongside in-depth data set analysis leveraging advanced Excel techniques
Responsibilities also include the systematic execution of test cases, defect documentation using defect tracking tools, supporting UAT cycles with dedicated UAT tools, and collaborating with business and technical teams to ensure alignment, ultimately guaranteeing data integrity, compliance, and production readiness
Acts as the primary point of contact for testing facilitators, executors, and validators, and demonstrates a high level of accountability and responsibility
Conducts a wide range of quality-control tests and analyses with full competency to ensure that software meets or exceeds specified standards
Interfaces with Test Lead and Business Analysis team to understand business requirements for test case review sessions
Responsible for assisting team leadership/management for analysis, design, and development of test and project plans on high-risk systems
Writes user stories for test cases of medium to high complexity. Possesses expertise in writing complex database queries
Develops test Cases, creates test data, executes complex test cases, documents defects, generates rest metrics, and tracks defects to resolution
Assists the Test Lead / Manager to generate accurate and clear project status reports
Proficient in database query languages such as SQL; Manages and directs the test team’s work products and processes
Documents defects and generates test metrics. Tracks defects to resolution within a defined timeframe
Manages test environment, resources, issues, bugs and escalation to proper channel
Management teams to make the product more acceptable Improves test quality and effectiveness by working with Development and Project
Demonstrates superior testing or management techniques and has experience working within the same industry and application
Software Quality Assurance & Reporting – At least 4 years of proven ability to translate business requirements into test scenarios, document defects, prepare test evidence, and communicate testing outcomes to cross functional stakeholders including product risk, analytics, and leadership teams
SQL & Data Analysis - At least 4 years if hands on experience using SQL to validate source-to-target data mappings, test business rules, identify data inconsistencies, and support UAT and audit requirements across multiple platforms
Data Validation – At least 3 years of experience in validating data pipelines, reports, dashboards, and analytical outputs across enterprise systems

Required
At least 4 years of proven ability to translate business requirements into test scenarios, document defects, prepare test evidence, and communicate testing outcomes to cross functional stakeholders including product risk, analytics, and leadership teams
At least 4 years of hands on experience using SQL to validate source-to-target data mappings, test business rules, identify data inconsistencies, and support UAT and audit requirements across multiple platforms
At least 3 years of experience in validating data pipelines, reports, dashboards, and analytical outputs across enterprise systems
Proficient in database query languages such as SQL; Manages and directs the test team's work products and processes
Demonstrates superior testing or management techniques and has experience working within the same industry and application
Strong communication skills and attention to detail are critical for success in this role
An ideal candidate should have strong analytics and problem-solving skills, experience working in regulated or enterprise environments, and the ability to test complex data-driven applications
Candidate should be comfortable working with large datasets, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and supporting audit, risk, and compliance requirements
