Business Development Manager

Climb Global Solutions is a software reseller and cloud service provider seeking a highly motivated Business Development Manager to drive growth in their mapping business. The role focuses on expanding sales of core mapping providers, generating new business, nurturing customer relationships, and managing partnerships.

Responsibilities

Generate net new business through vendor leads, targeted call outs and campaigns as well as supporting the wider GM team to identify opportunities
For retained managed accounts, increase sales using best practice behaviors, attitude, and processes, maintaining excellent client relationships
Fully profile new and existing clients to maximize opportunities
Be proactive in managing sales pipeline and compile accurate monthly reports
Continually learn about new products and improve your knowledge and selling skills. Keep up to date with current trends and different technologies
Collaborate with marketing to drive campaigns
Provide client quotations and work closely with other teams to ensure world class service for our clients
Identify and act on upsell and cross-sell opportunities
Arrange strategic client visits where necessary
Be proficient in using internal systems, keeping information up-to-date and engage in product, systems and skills training to further develop skills
Establish and maintain client relationships
Follow up on new leads, call requests, renewals and referrals
Prepare documentation for licensing contracts & services including proposals, quotes and tenders for clients
Take responsibility for problem resolution
Consistently achieve monthly KPI’s and sales targets
