Responsibilities
Responsible for coordination and completion of the more standard custom Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and, to a certain extent, independently completes or coordinates the completion moderately complex RFPs and consultant questionnaires
Coordinate and conduct planning sessions with sales representatives, underwriters and appropriate Subject Matter Experts (product, plan administration, implementation, etc.) to address the scope of the RFP, issues, product questions and establish ownership and timeframe for RFP completion
Assess information needs, conduct research and contact functional representatives to retrieve and coordinate all required information and manage RFP process through completion, prior to deadline, including communicating with brokers, vendors, and partners outside of the Company
Responsible for quality review of drafts and final documents for RFPs, as well as peer reviews if needed. More senior team members may take on certain additional responsibilities such as assigning work and training responsibilities
Provide flex resources for other teams during non-peak seasons, including attending benefit fairs for new or existing clients
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or equivalent
1- 3 years' experience in a sales support role
3+ years' experience in customer service role
Superior interpersonal skills, with emphasis on providing incomparable partnership
Excellent oral and written communication skills, with varying audiences
Exceptional organizational skills
Ability to handle multiple priorities
