Responsibilities
Enter data from source documents (e.g., cancelled checks, sales reports, bills) into designated fields using keyboards or scanners
Compile, sort, and verify the accuracy of information before entry
Identify and correct data inconsistencies or report them to supervisors
Verify data by comparing it with source documents or performing double-entry checks
Maintain logs, records, and documentation of completed tasks
Ensure all information is handled with a high level of confidentiality
Qualification
Required
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Proficiency in documenting and recording customer or client information accurately
Familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel (additional training will be provided)
Ability to pass a data entry speed and accuracy test (may be required)
Demonstrated experience handling confidential or personal information
Data entry experience
Excel data entry skills
High attention to detail
Ability to maintain confidentiality
Comfort working with computer applications
High school diploma or GED required
Preferred
2–4 years of related experience preferred
