Responsibilities

Partner with stakeholders to understand the business use cases
Translate business needs into data requirements and technical specifications for data engineers
Analyze source system APIs and data to guide ingestion and transformation
Define data mapping, lineage, transformation, and data quality rules required to bridge the gap between source and the target
Create clear data flow and process diagrams for technical and non-technical audiences
Support development of scalable, reliable data pipelines for analytics and AI
Promote data integrity, quality, and governance
Communicate insights and recommendations clearly to stakeholders and leadership
Recommend tools, products and services that support enterprise data goals

Required

Bachelor's degree and 3+ years' experience as a business or data analyst in a data migration or data warehouse role
Strong knowledge of P&C insurance domain especially claims and policy administration systems (Guidewire experience is a plus)
Familiarity with the Investments domain is a plus
Hands-on experience with AWS (S3, Glue, Athena, Redshift, Lambda), SQL, and BI tools (MicroStrategy a plus), and data platforms like Teradata or Snowflake
Proficiency with Agile, Jira, Confluence, Lucid/Visio, and Excel
Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset
A growth mindset and commitment to continuous learning
