Responsibilities
Leverage your familiarity with relevant global government acquisition guidelines and compliance requirements to lead development of contract management strategies applicable for international government and commercial customers
Manage and lead contract management efforts for international government and commercial customers
Develop and use deep industry background that enables you to engage and communicate effectively on a wide range of technical and business discussions with customers, partners, and internal Amazon Leo team members
Leverage your expertise and judgment to work through and document strategy for Amazon Leo for Government international contract management, including relevant stakeholders
Be a thought leader with respect to international contract management and process improvement
Identify and clear blockers with the right resources, escalating when appropriate
Demonstrate leadership and ability to navigate through complex problems, weighing various priorities and options, and managing multiple options and constraints
Communicate clearly and effectively to peers and leadership on the plans, status, and critical issues
Foster a constructive dialogue, harmonizes discordant views, and leads the resolution of contentious issues
Drives adoption of best practices for operational excellence
Accelerates progress by creating or optimizing multiple cross-team procedures
Support proposal development and negotiations for both prime contracts and subcontract opportunities
Support contract execution through working with team members to release request for proposals/quotes, negotiation positions, documenting trade-off decision for leadership, tracking contractual deliverables, and process contract close-out procedures
Develop international contract management team short term and long-term goals/objectives
Establish and execute a plan to achieve the documented goals/objectives
Working with finance partners, track metrics in regards to actual contractual spend and revenue; as well as forecasted financials; milestone completion; etc
Establish, maintain and execute SOP and templates related to international contracts
Qualification
Required
5+ years of professional or military experience
5+ years experience structuring and negotiating complex agreements and leading cross-functional groups to orchestrate and successfully complete deals
Familiarity with relevant global government acquisition guidelines
Experience supporting international government and commercial pursuits
Experience with relevant international government compliance requirements
Preferred
Experience influencing multiple stakeholders and leading cross functional teams across geographies and business units
Experience working with technical and product stakeholders to define requirements, prioritize features, and influence product roadmaps
Experience interpreting data and making business recommendations
Experience working in a fast-moving consumer business
Experience with sales CRM tools such as Salesforce or similar software
