Responsibilities
Plan, create, test, maintain, and deliver documentation for technical audiences (e.g., concepts, scripts, sample code, technical procedures)
Manage and deliver content for difficult technical projects as well as oversee all aspects of the process and workflow from writing through editing, technical review, build and publishing, successfully managing project’s lifecycle
Be a passionate advocate for your customer
Proactively increase customer satisfaction with the product
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or above in Technical Writing, Design, Human-Centered Interaction, Psychology, Computer Science, or other related discipline
Are 18 years of age or older
Work 40 hours/week minimum and commit to 12 week internship maximum
Experience writing high-quality technical content for technical audiences (e.g., engineers, developers, scientists)
Experience writing content that is clear, well-organized, and grammatically correct
Have at least two writing samples or projects, demonstrating past experience and deliverables of writing samples (website, link, reports, portfolio, etc.)
Are enrolled in a academic program that is physically located in the United States
Preferred
Knowledge of UX and/or CX design and usability
Experience interpreting technical drawings, diagrams, and flow charts
Experience working with style guides
Previous technical writing internship(s) or work experience, if applicable
