InternMGS Mfg. Group is a global provider of healthcare manufacturing solutions, and they are seeking an EHS Intern to assist the EHS Team with the development and improvement of programs supporting environmental, health, and safety excellence. The internship will provide college-level students with exposure to EHS practices within a plastic injection molding and cleanroom manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities
Review and analyze reports of accidents and near-miss occurrences to make recommendations that help prevent reoccurrences
Identify, implement and monitor the effectiveness of any corrective / preventative actions that may be taken to prevent reoccurrence
Work closely with all levels of management to promote safe manufacturing practices, procedures, and proper use of equipment and facilities, responding appropriately to any concerns raised by team members in relation to EHS in the plant
Coordinate, prepare and deliver EHS training for employees; both internal and external as required
Organize and participate in safety team activities
Conduct internal EHS audits to ensure regulatory compliance
Assist in setting, monitoring and presenting EHS metrics
Assist or lead the efforts of designated projects such as chemical inventory, LOTO & machine guard auditing and more
Assist with CI projects to gather data and feedback and develop deployment plans
Any other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Sophomore, Junior, or Senior year student pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Occupational and Environmental Safety and Health or equivalent is required
Strong proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
