Responsibilities
Lead and Coach Team: Directly manage a team of Centralized Sales Account Executives, providing daily coaching, training, and motivation to drive high performance
Performance Management: Monitor individual and team sales metrics, conduct regular performance reviews, and provide constructive feedback to ensure all team members meet their goals
Pipeline Oversight: Oversee the team's loan pipelines and daily sales activities to ensure they are on track to hit monthly and quarterly targets
Issue Resolution: Serve as the first point of escalation for complex broker issues, ensuring prompt and effective resolution
Onboarding & Training: Assist in the recruitment and training of new Account Executives, ensuring they are well-equipped to succeed in their roles
Sales Strategy Execution: Help implement the sales and growth strategies set by senior leadership, translating high-level goals into actionable plans for your team
Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve the team's efficiency and effectiveness, and provide feedback to management on market trends or operational challenges
Reporting: Track and report on team performance, providing regular updates and insights to your manager
Ensure Compliance: Ensure all team activities and broker communications strictly adhere to company policies and compliance standards
Foster Team Culture: Build a positive, collaborative, and high-energy team environment that encourages accountability and success
Qualification
Required
3-5 years of experience in a sales, account management, or call center role, with a strong track record of success
Proven experience leading or managing a sales team is required
A solid understanding of the mortgage lending industry is a significant plus
Proven ability to motivate and lead a team to meet and exceed sales goals
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to assist with complex deals
Proficiency in using a CRM system (e.g., Salesforce) and other sales-related technology
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
