Marketing and Communications Coordinator
New York University is seeking a Marketing & Communications Coordinator to serve as the primary storyteller and brand champion for the NYU Entrepreneurial Institute. This role involves managing the Institute’s digital presence through social media, email marketing, and content creation while engaging a community of over 60,000 students, faculty, and researchers.

Responsibilities
Act as the primary storyteller and brand champion for the NYU Entrepreneurial Institute
Take full ownership of the Institute’s digital presence, including strategy and execution for social media, email marketing, and content creation
Engage NYU’s 60,000+ community of students, faculty, and researchers, ensuring they are aware of and engaged with startup programs and coaching services
Combine creative skills with operational accountability to drive growth without constant oversight
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in marketing and communications
2+ years experience in digital communications, marketing, or content creation including, experience managing professional social media accounts and using email marketing platforms (e.g., Emma, Mailchimp, Constant Contact) or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet strict deadlines without needing reminders
Exceptional copywriting and editing skills; ability to adapt voice for different audiences (students vs. faculty)
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and familiarity with CMS (WordPress)
Ability to interpret marketing analytics to make informed decisions
Preferred
Bachelor's Degree with studies in marketing communications
1+ years Working in a University or Startup setting Experience supervising interns or junior team members
Knowledge of HTML/CSS
Passion for entrepreneurship, technology, and innovation
