Responsibilities
Lead Advanced Product development and technology transfer
Drive new product introduction
Champion digital engineering and modern development practices
Ensure Aerospace Certification, quality, and technical rigor
Foster innovation and technical ideation
Develop high performing technical teams
Qualification
Required
Proven engineering leadership experience
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
Broad, cross-disciplinary technical background, including experience with systems, software, and hardware R&D teams
Product development and execution experience across multiple phases of a product life cycle
Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical field from an accredited institution
Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status
Preferred
Aerospace, avionics, or navigation systems experience, including safety critical products and familiarity with certification and compliance expectations
Model-Based Systems Engineering and Digital Engineering experience
Experience generating, protecting, or commercializing intellectual property, including patents, invention disclosures, or early-stage technology incubation
Exposure to sensor technologies, including optics, MEMS, or laser-based systems, particularly where precision, reliability, and system integration are critical
Robotics or related experience with strong system integration skills across hardware, software, sensors, and controls
Executive-Level communication experience
Advanced technical education such as a Master's degree or PhD in engineering or a related technical discipline
