Responsibilities
Create, edit, and optimize CNC programs to support production and prototype machining
Interpret blueprints, CAD models, specifications, and work instructions to determine machining strategies
Select appropriate tooling, fixtures, feeds, speeds, and cutting parameters
Support machinists with setup, troubleshooting, and process improvements
Verify program accuracy through test runs and part inspections; adjust programs as needed
Ensure finished parts meet dimensional and quality requirements
Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve machining or process issues
Maintain documentation for programs, tooling, and processes
Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work environment
Continuously identify opportunities to improve cycle times, quality, and efficiency
Qualification
Required
Proven experience as a CNC Programmer in a manufacturing environment
Strong understanding of CNC machining processes, tooling, and materials
Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints and GD&T
Proficiency with mathematical concepts including fractions, percentages, ratios, and tolerances
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Preferred
Experience programming Fadal and/or Haas machines preferred
