Breeze Airways is a rapidly growing airline committed to improving the travel experience. They are seeking a Manager of Total Rewards who will oversee the design and implementation of a comprehensive total rewards program, including benefits and compensation management.

Responsibilities

Plan, manage and lead all activities relating to administration and maintenance of team member benefits programs including retirement plans, group health, life, disability, and voluntary programs
Develop, implement, and administer programs in a manner that ensures cost effectiveness, marketplace competitiveness, and internal equity
Partner with respective investment committees, and insurance consultants and brokers to ensure company compliance with Federal, State, and other regulatory agencies to limit company exposure to liability associated with fiduciary responsibilities
Manage vendor relationships to ensure that agreed upon service levels are met, and any issues are promptly addressed
Manage and mentor Total Rewards Team Members
Remain up to date on benefit and employment law changes and trends. Proactively offer input on actions needed to remain compliant with U.S. employment laws, governmental agencies, or fiduciary requirements as they pertain to U.S. team members and benefit plans
Design reports that monitor total rewards costs, provide People Services and other leaders with data necessary to understand trends and budget impacts
Oversee compensation programs that address annual salary increase and bonus processes; analyze external wage and salary data to facilitate the development of a fair and competitive compensation package
Facilitation of required government reporting, non-discrimination testing and required communications
Facilitation of required annual 401k plan audit
Provides counsel and support to the Executive Leadership Team and other Senior Leaders in the various areas of noted responsibility, making presentations as required to all levels of the organization
Responsible for benchmarking benefits and payroll practices to gain efficiencies and potential cost savings through integrated activities
Strategic and consistent assessment of the competitiveness of our compensation program through market analysis

Required

4-year degree in related field and 4+ years' experience of People (HR) Management experience that includes in-depth knowledge of Team Member (employee) benefit plan design and administration, funding, legal compliance, and compensation management
Specific management experience in compensation planning, research, policy development and program design to include health and welfare benefits, retirement plans, base and incentive pay
Proven experience building, designing, and implementing a total reward program that attracts top talent
Knowledge of People (HR), Benefits, and applicable federal and state laws and regulations
Excellent oral and written communication skills and strong people skills are necessary
Ability to serve as a knowledgeable resource to the executive management team

Preferred

Experience working within a fast-paced, complex, dynamic, multicultural business environment
Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) or Human Capital Institute (HCI) certification and membership
Experience with airlines, finance, healthcare, or technology organizations
Experience with Workday
