Project Engineer

The Project Engineer is responsible for providing full support to project management teams by coordinating schedules, resources, and ensuring project quality and accuracy.

Responsibilities

Coordinating project schedules, resources, equipment, documentation, and information
Liaising with clients to identify and define project requirements, scope, and objectives
Ensuring client needs are met as projects evolve
Participating in site meetings
Assisting in preparing action plans using resources from time and budget projects
Ensuring all projects are completed on time, within budget, and with high quality standards
Monitoring project progress and responding to issues as they arise
Acting as a point of contact and communicating project status to all participants
Working with project and program managers to eliminate project blockers
Using tools to monitor working hours, plans, and expenses/expenditures
Creating and maintaining project documentation, plans, and reports
Ensuring standards and requirements are met through quality assurance testing
Managing small moves, adds, and changes
Performing other duties as assigned

Required

A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field
2 or more years' field and project planning experience
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft products (Word, Excel, Planner, Project)
Strong working knowledge of BlueBeam and PlanGrid
Ability to prepare and interpret flowcharts, schedules, and step-by-step action plans
Knowledge of applicable codes, policies, standards, and best practices
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Effective organizational and problem-solving skills
Strong oral and written communication skills
Strong client-facing and teamwork skills
Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
