Responsibilities
Install, service, maintain, and repair low voltage systems in commercial and secure facilities
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve system malfunctions efficiently
Repair or replace faulty equipment and components
Respond to service calls in a timely and professional manner
Provide technical support and user training to customers as needed
Maintain detailed and accurate service reports and documentation
Coordinate with internal teams, subcontractors, and vendors to resolve issues
Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and customer requirements
Qualification
Required
Minimum 5 years of experience troubleshooting and repairing security, nurse call, and fire life safety systems
High School Diploma or equivalent
Valid California Drivers License with proof of auto insurance
Ability to obtain required vaccinations and immunizations to meet client and site requirements
Ability to drive 2+ hours per workday, daily
Ability to walk, bend, stoop, hear, and speak, daily
Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying temperatures
Ability to ascend/descend and work at heights above 6 feet, occasionally
Ability to move or transport items weighing up to 20 pounds, occasionally
Ability to work in confined spaces, occasionally
Frequent pushing and pulling using upper extremities
Ability to stand or sit for extended periods (4+ hours), daily
Frequent operation of a company vehicle
Work environments may include construction sites, commercial facilities, high-rise/mid-rise buildings, and hospitals with potential patient contact
Preferred
Experience with systems such as EST3, Lenel, and Ascom strongly preferred
