Responsibilities
Manage and drive strategic projects across all bank departments, ensuring alignment with organizational goals
Define project scope, goals, success criteria, and resource requirements
Coordinate across departments to gather requirements, assign tasks, and manage cross-functional dependencies
Document and communicate project progress, risk assessments, and final outcomes
Track, measure, and report the health of the project portfolio to senior leadership
Identify and propose innovative tools, services, or improvements aligned with industry trends
Conduct process reviews to enhance efficiency, scalability, and compliance
Ensure internal procedures and compliance guidelines are followed within project implementation
Serve as a point of escalation for cross-functional project challenges
Foster a positive project culture and stakeholder engagement throughout project lifecycles
Lead project kickoff meetings and create project charters, timelines, and responsibility assignments
Collaborate with executive leadership and subject matter experts to evaluate and prioritize incoming project requests
Ensure timely project closure, closed project evaluations, and knowledge transfer
Design and implement performance metrics and monitoring systems to benchmark and track progress toward strategic, associate, and community-focused project goals. Produce regular reports and insights to support planning and impact evaluation
Collect, analyze, and interpret data from projects and customer/community outreach efforts, including financial literacy initiatives, to identify opportunities for improved engagement and operational effectiveness. Provide actionable recommendations based on findings
Maintain sufficient knowledge and understanding of the Bank Secrecy Act, Anti-Money Laundering/Anti-Terrorist Financing/PATRIOT Act and OFAC regulations
Other duties related to corporate projects may be required, as needed and determined by leadership
Qualification
Required
Understanding of deadline importance and an ability to work with a sense of urgency in completing assignments
Proven and demonstrated ability to solve problems and collaborate with others to determine mutually acceptable solutions
Experience collaborating directly with people from various backgrounds
Ability to properly set and manage the expectations of others
Experience handling sensitive information and maintaining the highest level of confidentiality
Strong understanding of banking operations, lending systems, and compliance frameworks
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Exceptional analytical, organizational, and critical thinking skills
Proficient in use of Microsoft Office suite of products
Ability to multitask, adapt to change, and work in a fast-paced environment
Ability to manage expectations, facilitate collaboration, and lead without direct authority
Bachelor's degree in business or a related field; or equivalent experience in a business environment
5+ years of experience in financial services project management
Preferred
Familiarity with Power BI, Confluence, and ServiceNow is a plus
PMP and/or Agile certifications (Scrum, SAFe) highly preferred
