They are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Specialist/Inspector to support their team with administrative, compliance, and operational tasks, ensuring certification packages are accurate and compliance is maintained.

Responsibilities

Receive Certification Packages from Suppliers: Ensure certification packages are accurate and complete. Ability to communicate and question Suppliers regarding purchase requirements and ensure compliance

Update Systems and Databases: Ensure systems are maintained and kept up to date on certification packages received. Conduct compliance system audits to identify and address gaps

Instruct employees regarding Quality procedures and requirements when working with material compliance, acceptance and production

Develop and maintain records related to material compliance

Performs other related duties as assigned, such as production support/inspection of product

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software

Excellent problem-solving ability

Strong written and verbal communication skills for preparing reports, documenting processes, and presenting findings

Comfortable working in cross-functional teams, including engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain

Ability to collaborate with suppliers and customers

Familiarity with document control processes and maintaining quality records

Strong organizational skills and the ability to find, understand, and organize documents

Excellent attention to detail to ensure compliance

4-year bachelor's degree

Education may be waived based on experience with 2-year associate degree

Must be a U.S. Persons

Must be able to satisfy federal government requirements for access to government information; having dual citizenship may preclude you from meeting this requirement

To conform to U.S. Government space technology export regulations, including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), you must be a U.S. citizen, a lawful permanent resident of the U.S., a protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State
