Responsibilities
Be responsible for the quality, reliability, and overall health of our data pipelines
Work closely with Data Scientists, Traders and Quantitative Researchers (QTs) to understand their needs, and how they use our final data products
Detect source data quality issues that lead to incorrect downstream metrics, and partner with data owners to develop tools to proactively surface and resolve these issues
Assist colleagues in transitioning data pipelines and analytics tools to enterprise-wide standards, and improve the process for future adoptions
Collaborate with the broader data organization to improve our overall platform offering and functionality
Map business workflows to ETL jobs to help own the end-to-end data pipelines
Own and continuously improve the Metrics UI and related dashboards
Qualification
Required
Proficiency in constructing and managing data-processing pipelines
Strong proficiency in SQL and object-oriented languages like Python
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work in a team environment
Hands-on experience with ETL tools (e.g. PySpark) and large-scale, complex data transformations
Preferred
Experience with lightweight UI or dashboarding frameworks like Dash is a plus
