Responsibilities
Implements, evaluates, and maintains the remote patient monitoring program, including patient and clinician education and skills validation, policy and procedure review development including reviewing and updating, proper care and maintenance of equipment and serving as a resource to patients and end users
Collaborates with remote patient monitoring vendor on a regular basis
Evaluates patient status using remote monitoring data, identifies early signs of clinical deterioration, and responds appropriately by providing care aligned with the patient’s diagnoses, symptoms, and provider orders, including notifying the responsible provider when indicated
Communicates and collaborates with the patient, interdisciplinary team, and providers in providing care. Ensure that intervention or referrals are made promptly
Promotes patient/caregiver education using various verbal and written communication techniques that consider the patient/caregiver’s cultural, ethnic, and personal needs or preferences
Qualification
Required
6 years or more RN experience with ASN Degree OR Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) for Remote Monitoring II
12 years or more RN experience with ASN/ADN Degree OR 6 years or more RN experience with Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) OR Masters/Doctorate of Nursing for Remote Monitoring III
Registered Nurse | North Dakota Board of Nursing (NDBON) or Compact State Agreement | Prior to Start Date | HR Primary Sources
