Responsibilities

Manage general ledger accounting activities, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance
Perform and review account reconciliations and ensure timely resolution of discrepancies
Analyze project and POC accounting data to support accurate revenue recognition and financial statements
Support the Head of Accounting in reviewing and evaluating general ledger impacts on divisional results
Prepare, review, and present financial statement fluctuation analyses to leadership
Provide general ledger data and supporting documentation for internal/external audits and Siemens Mobility divisional reviews
Conduct detailed balance sheet, P&L, and cash flow reviews and deliver meaningful, actionable insights
Collaborate effectively with Siemens Mobility finance teams and act as a trusted business partner to cross-functional stakeholders

Qualification

Required

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
Professional experience in general ledger or project accounting, ideally within a public accounting firm or multinational organization
Understanding of percentage of completion (POC) or construction project accounting
Familiarity with SAP or comparable ERP systems
Advanced Excel proficiency and experience working with financial reporting tools
Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving capabilities, and communication skills
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a fast-paced, matrixed environment

Preferred

Master's degree or CPA strongly preferred
