Responsibilities
Develop, refine, and manage preventive and predictive maintenance schedules for plant equipment and supporting systems
Plan and coordinate daily and weekly maintenance activities, ensuring labor, parts, tools, permits, and documentation are prepared
Create comprehensive job plans, including safety procedures, step‑by‑step instructions, required materials, photos, and estimated task durations
Lead and support planning for plant shutdowns/outages, ensuring work is executed safely and efficiently with minimal operational impact
Analyze failure data and equipment history to identify trends and drive reliability improvements
Validate PM effectiveness and adjust maintenance intervals, tasks, and procedures to improve performance
Participate in troubleshooting and root cause analysis for equipment breakdowns and chronic problems
Maintain accurate CMMS records, including asset data, PM tasks, job plans, and work order history
Support continuous improvement efforts tied to TPM, lean flow, and uptime performance goals
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical discipline
2+ years of maintenance engineering experience in manufacturing or industrial operations
Strong background developing and improving preventive and predictive maintenance (PM/PdM) programs
Proficiency with CMMS systems and maintenance work order processes
Experience using failure data, equipment history, and performance metrics to drive maintenance planning
Understanding of lean manufacturing principles, especially Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) and lean flow concepts
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Experience using project management software
Preferred
Experience planning and executing plant shutdowns, outages, or major maintenance events
Ability to create detailed maintenance job plans with safety steps, instructions, parts lists, labor estimates, and visual aids
Root cause analysis (RCA) experience for equipment issues or recurring failures
Knowledge supporting spare parts planning, asset documentation, and maintenance records management
