Responsibilities
Plan, Supervise and Execute blasting and painting operations
Lead a team of painters to ensure timely and efficient completion of projects
Able to read and interpret drawings and paint specifications
Follow all the specified product data sheets for each coating system to be applied
Ensure all work is performed in accordance with industry standards and regulations
Maintain a safe work environment and ensure that all safety protocols are followed
Maintain sprayers and equipment as needed using solvents, wire brushes, and cloths for cleaning duties
Dispose of hazardous waste in an appropriate manner
Use of proper testing techniques to meet the specified quality standards (NACE)
Maintain accurate records and documentation of all projects
Ensure project budgets are adhered to and projects are completed within budget constraints
Air monitoring for confined space as required
Able to use dry film and wet film thickness gauge to determine thickness of coatings that are applied
Communicate effectively and professionally with clients, contractors and team members
Continually evaluate and improve processes to increase efficiency and quality
Qualification
Required
Minimum 3-5 years experience as painting/project manager - experience with new construction in commercial facilities preferred
Able to travel up to 50 miles to job site(s)
High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate)
Driver's License (Required)
Own Truck (Required)
Work Location: South Florida various Locations
Preferred
Bi - Lingual (Spanish) A plus (not required)
